In the fall of 2001 I wrote a paper for grad school entitled “Being the First Century Church in the 21st Century.” At the time I had no idea how relevant that subject would be today. It reminds me of a statement by Bill Hybels when he noted that “nothing on this planet is more important, more strategic, and more urgently needed than the local church.” I could not agree with that assessment more. But what is the real church anyway? Buildings? Programs? Politics? Social Concern? When you cut through the debates, personal likes, and controversies what does the authentic church actually look like and how can it be realized today? Tune in tonight at 8p central as we dive into the questions about CHURCH.
Feel free to send in your observations, experiences, and questions ahead of time here or on our Face Book Page. You can also send in questions live by one of these medias or directly on the Sunday Night Discussion Google + page.

Tonight on the Discussions Robert and I will be joined by Dow Tippett and Justin Lopez who is the Executive Director of For the City Network in Austin, Texas. We will be taking a look at the ways we are called to practically serve the community in which we have been placed. What does it mean to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the city today? Be sure to join us live on our SND Google + page and share your questions with Justin and the gang. You can also send in questions early on Face Book or the Kingdomology.com blog.

Two months ago we ran a show asking the question of what it means to be a Godly man in our present culture. Tonight we’re turning the coin over and asking the same question of the ladies. Join us this evening with author and speaker, Cindy Dagnan along with Beth Tippett and my favorite person in the world, Debi Hinton as we dive into the question of Godly Womanhood.
