Is Christianity Intellectually Relevant?

Is Christianity Intellectually Relevant?

SNDWhere does the burden of proof rest in discussions about Christianity?  Can the claims of Christianity be rationally defended or must we check our brains at the doors of faith?  Join us Sunday night at 8p Central as we welcome apologist Larry Lewis live from Berlin, Germany.  Larry is director of the Connections Resource Center in Berlin.  Connections is part of a larger effort known as the Open Door Libraries which bring the knowledge of God to countries where Christian teaching and resources have been limited or restricted.

Do you have questions about the legitimacy Christianity and the Bible?  Then grab a friend and stop by our live webcast. You can catch the program here or on our Sunday Night Discussions Google + page.  Questions can be sent in prior to the show or while the program is live through one of these mediums.

Can We Trust The Text?

Can We Trust The Text?

SNDIt’s a valid question! Can we trust the Bible? Many Christians hold their hope and build their world view around the Bible. But is it reliable? Is it really the authentic word of God? Or, on the other hand, is it something else; something of mere human origin? Is it just a good piece of literature? Has it been translated too many times to know for sure? Is it just a good book or morals? Can it really be any different from the Quran, the Book of Mormon, or the teachings of Buda? What about the Jesus spoken of in the Bible? Can we trust the Biblical accounts of Christ or was he simply a historical person no greater than Julius Caesar?

Those are all real questions that we want to humbly address this Sunday night on the “Discussions.” So join us this week at 8p Central as we welcome our special guest, Dr. Terry Bowland from Ozark Christian College. Questions can be sent in here or directly through viewing the show on the “Sunday Night Discussions” Goolge + page.

“Sunday Night Discussions” Is Going Live!

It’s official! This Sunday at 8p central in the US, “Sunday Night Discussions” will be launching here on Kingdomology.  So what’s SND?  Well I’m really glad you asked.  In short, SND will be a venue for hard questions regarding faith and exploring the deeper Kingdom of God beyond mere religion.  In this live webcast format, my friend, Robert Tippett and I will be discussing a number of questions that people have about life, faith, and what Jesus referred to as the Kingdom of God.  The purpose of the live webcast is to offer up some real answers to honest questions regarding faith and at the same time illustrate how God’s Kingdom really does intersect with us in the here and now.  Periodically we will have guest on the show and if you have a Google+ account you are definitely encouraged to send in questions while the show is live.  We’re looking forward to a fun time and I’m praying that SND will be a benefit to both those who are seeking answers as well as those who are growing in their faith.  So grab a friend and join us this Sunday for our Maiden Voyage of SND.
